NOKIA LAUNCHES C7 AND N8 GREEN (SPECIFICATIONS, DETAILS, REVIEW, PRICE)

Nokia has announced the launch of new Nokia N8 and C7 smartphones. With it nokia is expected to go green. Nokia has just shown some environmental concern with it. The design of the smartphone and specifications are given below. The green phone has green content features including Climate Mission, education game, third party apps, and also a link to the device's eco-profile. Also Nokia delivers start-up guide too which is very simple now. Another features is that it has a high-efficiency energy charger to reduce charging time. The Nokia C7 and N8 will be available on Spain first and then to UK, Germany, Argentina, Chile and Peru.

Network
The Nokia N8 smartphone works on GSM(850/900/1800/1900) and HSDPA (850/900/1700/1900/2100) networks. It supports both 3G and 2G.

Size and Display
The dimension of N8 is 113.5x59.1x12.9mm and has a weight of 135g. The display type is AMOLDED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colour. The Phone has a size of 360 x 640 pixels. Some other innovations in Display include Multi-touch input, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off,accelerometer sensor,Scratch resistant(Gorilla glass display).

It has stand time up to 390 hours on 2G and up to 400 hrs on 3G. Also talktime of about 12hrs on 2G and 5 hrs on 3G. In music play mode it last 50 hrs.

The OS that it uses is Symbian^3 OS. The processor is ARM 11 680 MHz processor and 3D Graphics HW accelarator. It supports GPS.

MOTOROLA FLIPSIDE AT AT&T (SPECIFICATIONS, DETAILS, PRICE)

AT&T has introduced the Motorola Android smartphone named Motorola Flipside. The cost of the smartphone is $399.99 without commitment or $99.99 on 2-year contract.
At&T has announced its launch a month ago.The specifications include a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display along with resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, sliding QWERTY keyboard, 512MB onboard storage, 2GB microSD card, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1,3MP camera.The smartphone is expandable up to 32GB. The side-slider has an optical mouse/ Touch-Pad. It uses TFT technology. The processor is TI OMAP 3410 with a speed of 720 MHz.

Other display features include Multi-touch, Proximity Sensor and Light sensor. Its music player supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, AMR formats while video player supports MPEG4, H.264, WMV.
The average battery life is 7.33 hrs(Talk time) and 288 hrs(stand by time). But in 3G mode the above time is 5.25hrs and 288 hrs respectively.
The OS that flipside uses is Android 2.1. The Flipside suppoets GSM/GPRS 850/ 1800/ 1900 MHz, 3G UMTS/ HSDPA(7.2 and 2.0 Mbit/s) WCDMA networks.
The Flipside weighs 5.1 ounces(about 145g) and has a dimension of 4.31 x 2.26 x 0.59 inches.

Samsung along with google with their OS Android brings in the new Galaxy S smartphone. This is actually google's next Nexus phone. The Tab is easily portable, can be easily gripped in one hand and is also light weight.

KDDI SAMSUNG SMT-i9100 ANDROID TABLET TO BE LAUNCHED IN JAPAN

 KDDI has announced its new Android Tablet namely the SMT i9100 to be launched in Japan. The manufacturer is Samsung and comes with Wi-Fi capabilities instead of 3G. The brand new tablet uses the Android 2.2 OS.

The SMT-i9100 has got a 7-inch multi-touch display. Its resolution is 1024 x 600 pixels. With 512MB RAM and 4GB flash storage it is gonna shake the digital world in its release. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, Stereo speakers, 2MP webcam, mini USB and a micro SDHC memory card slot. One of its major drawback is that it's battery has only 12 hours standby and 2 hours of use. The dimension of tablet is 199 X 13.9 X 129.5 mm and weight is just 450g. The officials haven't said a word on it's price.

SAMSUNG N350 COMING IN UK

Samsung has started selling its new netbook, N350 in UK. It was submitted in IFA 2010 in Berlin, Germany. It has been announced that it is the world's first notebook with 3G HSPA+ and 4G LTE support. But actually it is on the market with out it.

The N350 is powered by a 1.5 GHz Intel Atom N550 dual processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, GMA integrated graphics and 250 GB hard drive with windows 7 pre-installed. It is a with 10.1 inch LED backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, webcam, Ethernet LAN, WI-FI, Bluetooth 3.0, 4 in 1 card reader. It has a battery life of 6.5 hours. IT's cost is £349.

AT&T 3G WI-Fi IPADS

AT&T announced the availability of Apple iPad Wi-Fi +3G on their stores. It has been started selling in the 2,200 AT&T stores in US from October 28 onwards.The price of 16GB iPad is $629, 32GB is $729 and 64GB is $829. But on the other hand 250MB iPads price is $14.99 and that of 2GB is $25. The AT&T has allowed unlimited access to AT&T's Wi-Fi Hot spots in the US.The new iPad has 0.5 inch thickness and weight of 1.6 pounds. It provides 10 hours of battery supply while using all the available services.

Nokia C5-03 smartphone

Nokia pushed its new smartphone Nokia C5-03 on the market. Tha handset which runs in Symbian^1 OS has a 3.2 inch touch screen display with 640 x 360 pixels. Its other features include Wi-fi, gps and 5MP camera.
It has 40 MB of inbuilt memory and is expandable up to 16 GB. Its weight is 93g and dimensions are 105.8 x 51 x 13.8 mm. It provides 11.5 hours talk time in GSM, 4.5 in 3G and 24-25 days in stand-by mode. It will be on market later this year with a price of $240.
