Nokia N9, Latest Smart Phone From Nokia Unveiled - Specifications, Features, Review

Famous international Mobile manufacturer Nokia unveiled its latest smartphone Nokia N9 at the Nokia Connections earlier this week. According to Mr.Stephen Elop, the CEO of Nokia, the phone which is based on the Windows Mobile Platform would be launched later this year. He also addded that the price of the product also would be revealed closer to the launch.
"From now onwards, Nokia's smartphones would be based on the Windows Mobile Platform while the Symbian Platform would be used for lower-end phones", said Mr.Elop. "We would offer continued support, up to atleast 2016, for the Symbian-based phones", he continued. He added that 10 new phones based on the Symbian Operating System would be launched soon.
Presenting the new Nokia N9 smartphone, Marko Ahtisaari, Senior Vice-President, Design, said, "The future of touch is beyond the screen". The N9 reflected this, he said. The new Nokia N9 is equipped with Near Field Communication (NFC) capabilities, which will enable the pairing of the device to speakers and other devices. N9, which uses a Carl Zeiss 8 megapixel camera, will be available in 3 colours - Black, Blue, and Cyan-Magenta. Nokia also announced the launch of a speaker with NFC capability, enabling it to be paired to a mobile phone such as the N9 when it becomes available.
In the same event, Mary McDowell, Executive Vice-President, Mobile Phones, unveiled a new dual SIM phone, Nokia C2-03, which offers maps stored on the device. The new Nokia C2-03 uses cell tower location capabilities instead of GPS. The quality of the web applications enables the users to enjoy a richer experience.

The Pink Nokia N8

Nokia has introduced a new Pink coloured version of N8 called the Pink Nokia N8. It's design and colour suits women the best. Being sixth colour version of Nokia N8, it is filled with ELLE fashion app and a Pink Neon Clock. All other features are same as that in the original N8 which includes 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, 12MP camera, HMDI and more. It hasn't yet announced when and where the Handset will be made available.

NOKIA LAUNCHES C7 AND N8 GREEN (SPECIFICATIONS, DETAILS, REVIEW, PRICE)

Nokia has announced the launch of new Nokia N8 and C7 smartphones. With it nokia is expected to go green. Nokia has just shown some environmental concern with it. The design of the smartphone and specifications are given below. The green phone has green content features including Climate Mission, education game, third party apps, and also a link to the device's eco-profile. Also Nokia delivers start-up guide too which is very simple now. Another features is that it has a high-efficiency energy charger to reduce charging time. The Nokia C7 and N8 will be available on Spain first and then to UK, Germany, Argentina, Chile and Peru.

The Nokia N8 smartphone works on GSM(850/900/1800/1900) and HSDPA (850/900/1700/1900/2100) networks. It supports both 3G and 2G.

The dimension of N8 is 113.5x59.1x12.9mm and has a weight of 135g. The display type is AMOLDED capacitive touchscreen with 16M colour. The Phone has a size of 360 x 640 pixels. It has stand time up to 390 hours on 2G and up to 400 hrs on 3G. Also talktime of about 12hrs on 2G and 5 hrs on 3G. In music play mode it last 50 hrs.

Software
The OS that it uses is Symbian^3 OS. The processor is ARM 11 680 MHz processor and 3D Graphics HW accelarator. It supports GPS.

The phone is available in Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue, Orange colours.

The price is about 370 Euro.

NOKIA E7 QWERTY PHONE ON EXPANSYS UK (SPECIFICATIONS, DETAILS, PRICE)

Expansys UK has started accepting pre-order for the stylish symbian phone, the Nokia E7. The QWERTY set is rated at £584.99 for the black version. The release is expected to be on 10th January 2011.

NOKIA COMES WITH NFC INSIDE C7 SMARTPHONE

Nokia C7 comes with NFC(Near Field Communication) chip. The smartphone which runs on Symbian^3 platform uses NFC technology to allow exchange of data between devices within the range of 10cm. Another cool thing with NFC technology is that a phone with it can be used to make payment at stores, ticketing and more mobile payment too. It has been previously reported that the NFC chip will be incorporated into all Nokia smartphones starting in 2011.
Other specifications include 3.5-inch touchscreen, AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, 8GB internal memory, 1GB ROM, 8Megapixel camera with 720p video recording. The secondary features include Wi-Fi, HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0, microSD slot, FM tuner and also GPS.

Nokia C5-03 smartphone

Nokia pushed its new smartphone Nokia C5-03 on the market. Tha handset which runs in Symbian^1 OS has a 3.2 inch touch screen display with 640 x 360 pixels. Its other features include Wi-fi, gps and 5MP camera.
It has 40 MB of inbuilt memory and is expandable up to 16 GB. Its weight is 93g and dimensions are 105.8 x 51 x 13.8 mm. It provides 11.5 hours talk time in GSM, 4.5 in 3G and 24-25 days in stand-by mode. It will be on market later this year with a price of $240.

Nokia enters to the low price touch screen market with Nokia 5233 Express Music. Its a stylish phone with a 3.2" 360 x 640 pixel and 16M colour TFT LCD. The Nokia 5233 Express Music runs on Symbian S60 platform(5th edition). It has a 434 MHz ARM 11 processor. The bundle contains battery, charger, headset ,lanyard with plectrum stylus and user guide.
Nokia 5233 has a 1320 mAh Li-Ion battery and comes with a 2megapixel camera. Its a quad band GSM handset.It supports GPRS and EDGE along with USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.its price is Rs 7,800 and is expected to compete with Samsung Corby series.Hope it captures Indian market as well.
