Novothink unveiled their new hybrid solar charger case for Apple iPhone 3G/3GS and iPod touch, named Novothink Solar Surge. The Novothink Solar Surge is a Backup battery, which combines a Lithium ion battery and a solar panel into a soft touch with non-slip finish case.
The Novothink Solar Surge can provide a backup up to 30 minutes (3G) or up to 60 minutes (2G) if charged for about 2 hours under direct sunlight. The Novothink Solar Surge for iPhone 3G/3GS has a built-in 1320mAh lithium-ion battery where as that for iPod touch has a built-in 1500mAh battery.
Both Novothink Solar Surge series are available at Amazon at a price of $79.95 for iPhone version and $69.96 for iPod touch model.
