GPS not to survive till next year

Global Positioning System(GPS), which is maintained by 24 satellite is expected not to survive till next year. This was under the control of US Air Force since 1990. These satellites were to replaced by 1997 but no steps were taken for this till now due to lack of fund and also mismanagement. Fall of GPS shall threat mobile phones with GPS applications and also travellers who don't know directions. But countries like India, Russia and China has taken steps to expand their satellite navigation techniques and resources. We shall see the real damage it can cause during the next year. If necessary steps are not taken it is a real threat to communication systems too.

Nokia 5233 on Indian Market

Nokia enters to the low price touch screen market with Nokia 5233 Express Music. Its a stylish phone with a 3.2" 360 x 640 pixel and 16M colour TFT LCD. The Nokia 5233 Express Music runs on Symbian S60 platform(5th edition). It has a 434 MHz ARM 11 processor. The bundle contains battery, charger, headset ,lanyard with plectrum stylus and user guide.
Nokia 5233 has a 1320 mAh Li-Ion battery and comes with a 2megapixel camera. Its a quad band GSM handset.It supports GPRS and EDGE along with USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity.its price is Rs 7,800 and is expected to compete with Samsung Corby series.Hope it captures Indian market as well.
